The Commemoration of The 49th Anniversary Of The Independence of The Republic of Angola

The commemoration of the 49th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Angola was celebrated on 11 November 2024 in Angola. The Embassy of the Republic of Angola in India brought together all the sons and daughters of the Angolan nation on 16 November 2024, at KICKSAL Farm, located in New Delhi, India, to celebrate, salute, and pay homage to our ancestors and the heroes who fought for Angola’s independence.

The event took place in a sporting football atmosphere, with the Angolan team playing against the DRC team, in the presence of the Head of Mission, H.E. Ambassador Clemente Camenha, the Head of Mission of the DRC, other diplomats from both countries and friends of Angolans from different countries in the African community in India.
