PLUMBEX 2024, Mumbai.

PLUMBEX 2024, India’s largest exhibition of water, sanitation, and plumbing products, organized by the IPA (Indian Plumbing Association), took place at the Joi World Convention Centre in Mumbai from 25 to 27 April. The event was called ‘CHAMPIONING EXCELLENCE IN PLUMBING’.

Angola’s participation in the fair, chaired by His Excellency Dr Clemente Camenha, was aimed at implementing and strengthening the commercial (business) diplomacy that Dr Clemente Camenha has been developing in this region of Asia, particularly in India.

The Angolan representation was made up of the head of the diplomacy in India, the president of the Angola-India Chamber of Commerce, and some Angolan businessmen.
His Excellency Dr Clemente Camenha, the VIP of the fair, had the honor of being one of the speakers and in his address to the audience, he spoke about the role of this diplomatic mission in India, the interest and desire to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the most significant sectors, including the importance of plumbing and water treatment for improving the quality of life of our population and our cities.
The Angolan Ambassador to India was also given the responsibility of honoring some representatives of the organizations for their distinguished work.

Continuing to represent Angola throughout the fair, Dr Clemente Camenha maintained the mission’s momentum by interacting with various entrepreneurs and companies in B2B meetings at the Angola-dedicated booths and visiting the product tents for water, sanitation, plumbing, and futuristic plumbing technologies.
On the sidelines of a private working meeting for the same purpose, the Ambassador gave directions to the Secretary General of IACCI (India-Africa Chamber of Commerce and Industry) and the President of CCAI (Angola-India Chamber of Commerce) for the organization of the Angola-India Business Summit in the first half of this year, and the parties agreed to work hard for its execution and realization.
